PRTCL [iPhone, openFrameworks] from CreativeApplications.Net on Vimeo.
Last weekend I had the pleasure to join the openframeworks (C++ Framework for creatives) workshop at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London We made a lot. The results were awesome. I met Memo Akten, who did a lot of amazing stuff with openframeworks (Depeche Mode Music Video)
Besides he contributes a lot OF Stuff for the iPhone.
The nice multitouch App on top is done by Filip Visnjic using Memo Akten’s MSARemote application for the iPhone.
There are so many interactions possible with openframworks. Multitouch, accelerometer, sound, mic and much more.
The video here shows a multitouch interaction between multiple iPhones and one MacBook. Sadly the iPhones are not visible here in the video. It was pretty fun interacting with a bunch of iPhone users and having the interaction result on one screen.
I also met Marek Bereza who developed “thump” – a DJ Tool for the iPhone – with openframeworks.
I am keen on working with openframeworks for the iPhone now and it is a straight forward development.
There were more amazing projects at the workshop.
Homemade 3D Scanner and Human Pong and much more …(don’t have any links yet)
I took part of the Reactickles group, which has a goal in gesture interaction for children with autism.
